Summer Job in Östra Jämtland

Östra Jämtland is part of the Southeast Jämtland parish.

In our area, there are three summer-open churches, and we are now looking for someone to welcome our visitors and be our face on-site.

Current Churches and Work Periods

• Håsjö Old Church 4/7-3/8, 5 hours/day, 3-4 days/week.
• Stugun Old Church 2/7-25/7, 5 hours/day, 3 days/week.
• Ragunda Old Church 23/6-13/7 and/or 14/7-3/8, 6 hours/day, 5 days/week.

Job Responsibilities

Varies depending on the location of work. At Håsjö Old Church and Stugun Old Church, the work mainly consists of meeting our visitors and guiding them in the church. There are cafes run by other organizations in our immediate vicinity.

When working at Ragunda Old Church, you will prepare simple snacks, greet visitors, guide in the church, ensure that snacks are available throughout the day, and clean up/prepare for the next day.

Qualifications

You have an interest in the church and our cultural environments. The knowledge required for guiding will be provided on-site. It is important that you are comfortable meeting and talking to visitors and sharing your knowledge about the church and the location with them. The job requires you to be service-oriented and focused on our visitors at all times.
